how often do you change products? |
Our guest can choose from the various sections of the
gift mall and we can send most of the gifts to majority
of cities in India.( for list of cities click here)
However we deliver cakes, chocolates, sweets and other
edible items ONLY IN AHMEDABAD. We keep adding new products
and the same is displayed on the site in our “WHATS
NEW” section.

Where do we procure products from? |
All the products are procured locally from the best
of the vendors and we follow a very strict quality control
policy. We procure the products keeping in mind that
it is the most important occasion of your life. OUR
MOTTO IS NOT TO MEET YOUR EXPECATIONS BUT TO BEAT YOUR
EXPECTATIONS.

How is the gift delivered? Where can it be delivered and
what is the lead time? |
We understand that gifting is very different from shopping
and so we take the following steps in completing your
gifting needs. We know that a guest is putting lot of
faith in us and we have to beat their expectations.
In order to achieve this goal...
We take care of the following while delivering.
1.Product quality has to be nothing but the best. (in
case of eatables the time gap between the production
and delivery is never more than 3 hours)
2.Packing has to be very good. ( always packed in such
a way that it is soothing to eye and also sturdy enough.
3.Delivery has to be timely .( This is one of the most
important part of gifting)
4.Service has to be courteous. (our staff is well trained
in delivering the gifts)
5.In case of a problem (which are rare) the way it is
solved is very important and we see to it that our customer
is satisfied.
The gifts are packed beautifully and
hand delivered in Ahmedabad , Nadiad, Gandhinagar ,
Anand, Vallabh Vidyanagar by www.ahmedabadcity.com staff
. In rest of the places it is delivered by professional
courier agencies having nationwide presence and by our
domestic partners.The minimum order requirement for
placing a order for Nadiad , Anand, Vallabhvidyanagar
and Near By Areas is US$ 35. There is no shipping charge.

What is the lead time for delivery? |
The lead time for all the products are given on the
respective pages. Normally we require 24 hours for most
of the gifts but it is advisable to carefully read the
lead time for each and every product given on respective
page.
For out side Ahmedabad deliveries the
lead time is 72 hours to 96 hours and for rest of the
world lead time is 7 -10 days.

What should I do to ensure that my delivery is made on
time? |
To make sure that your delivery is done in time please
do the following.
1. Place your order well in advance
2. Full name of Recipient
3. Detailed address with some landmark
4. Landline number
5. Mobile number
6. Neighbours number if possible.
In case of improper address we can call the recipient
and tell him about the delivery without disclosing the
surprise . |

How do I make payment and what is the security of my credit
card information? |
Your card is processed by the world leader in the industry
- CCNOW, who functions as our authorized online retailer,
using SSL encryption on their servers. The details of
your card never come to us. It is absolutely safe to use
CCNOW’s payment gateway.We are associated with CCNow
since September 1998 and have never faced any problem
till the date.CCNOW , our online authorized retailer accepts
Visa, Master card, American Express, Discover / Novus)

Are the items delivered as displayed on the web page
? |
All pictures displayed in this site are those of the actual
product. (shades of colour can vary in some of the products),
but ahmedabadcity.com gift service reserves the right
to deliver a similar ,equally good product for reasons
beyond its control. If there is enough time we do try
to contact you and take your permission before doing this.

9. Can recepient
return the goods after they are delivered if they do not
like them.? |
Please note that we do not have a refund policy. However,
if a customer is dissatisfied with the quality of the
products delivered, he / she should notify the ahmedabadcity.com
within 24 Hrs of the delivery of the gifts. In such
a case we normally follow “no questions asked”
but we do forward the same to our quality control department
and only then decide on the action.
In the case of perishable items the complaint
should reach us within 12-24 hours. No complaint after
this time is entertained.
In any case our liability remains to
the maximum of the cost of product and all cases are
subject to jurisdiction of Ahmedabad.

What are your charges? |
The rates displayed along with each product are all inclusive
of shipping and forwarding charges and you do not have
to pay any thing extra apart from the actual prices shown
along with the respective items. |

What if the delivery is late or not made at all? |
In rare case of delay Our liability is limited to the
extent of the product price. In case of Non delivery due
to reason beyond our control we refund the amount. But
in the case where recipient is not home and neighbours
donot accept the gift we donot make refund. In such cases
we donate the item to needy person if it is eatable and
incase of non-perishable item we try to deliver at later
date. |

Can the order given be changed
? |
The order can be changed only if it the change request
reaches us well on time.

How do I send message with the gifts? |
You need to type in your message in the " Special
instructions Box" which appears on your screen at
the time of the payment. Alternatively you can send us
email at gift@ahmedabadcity.com
. please give your order reference number. Small message
will go on our tag and for large message we take a printout
of the same.

Can I cancel the order? |
Orders once placed normally cannot be cancelled. You can
though change the order. The request for the same should
reach us well in time. We shall not be able to do any
changes once the product is procured for the respective
delivery. |

WHAT IF THE ADDRESS IS WORNG OR
The person no longer lives at that addressor if he is
out of town? |
We inform you as soon as we get to know of this and
try to re-deliver most of the items But in case of EATABLES
we do not take any risk and donate this to needy person.
In case of flowers we are helpless and cannot make any
refund. But we do give some sort of discounts for future
orders in such cases.
In the case of person being not available
we deliver the gift to the neighbours and inform the
same to you and also follow up the same with the recipient,
when he is available.

How is the order cycle completed
? |
The moment you place an order, you shall receive order
confirmation from CCNOW ,our online retailer. A copy
of same comes to us after authentication of the card
is made. Mostly this is instant but in some cases it
can take upto 24 hours. All deliveries are made as per
the instructions given by you. Instructions for all
the products are mentioned on the respective pages.
Once we deliver the gift we send the scanned confirmation
slip with the signature and message of the recipient.
In case the recipient is not home we deliver the same
at neighbour’s place. Incase the neigbour does
not accept we inform you about the same. In such cases
eatables are donated to the needy person. We consider
the cycle completed once you get the scanned slip.
